Worker B Lip Balm Review

Worker-B-Lip-Balm-Review

If you are on the search for a lip balm that is not only filled with healthy ingredients but actually works this one is for you! I promise your lips will stay in tip-top shape for the entire winter.

Has anyone heard of the company Worker B? I never had until recently. They are local to Minnesota which I love!

CAN’T STOP BUYING LIP BALM

Every time I have visited Whole Foods in the past few weeks I have picked up a brand-new lip balm. For some reason I missed this one until about a week ago. Thank goodness it finally caught my eye. After using it for the first time and doing some research on the company and their products I was sold. I’m also a sucker for pretty packaging design and I can tell there was a lot of thought put into the design of their packaging.

Worker B is a three-person company that supports sustainable beekeepers and each of their products is handcrafted in small batches locally in Minnesota. And the most impressive part is their ingredients could not be any cleaner!

MY ONLY COMPAINT

This balm comes in your standard lip balm tube but the tube wrap is made of paper vs. plastic. I really like this but have one minor complaint. It was really difficult to break the lid away from the tube. I had to peel the paper sticker back and then carefully separate the lid from the tube. It was difficult to get a clean tear and there was sticky residue left over which since opening has gathered lint. A small price to pay for a lip balm that really works.

LOVE THIS BALM

The balm itself has a smooth consistency. It applies nicely and stays put. I have been concerned lately about some lip lines I have started to see pop up. After using this balm nightly for only a week I have seen them diminish slightly. I think with extended use I can kiss this small problem goodbye. This balm also makes a great prep balm before layering on lip color. I don’t always like to use lip balm before applying lip color because sometimes I feel like my lip color just comes right off. However, with this balm my lip color clings really nicely.

This product is made of ingredients that are so simple you could probably whip up a batch in your kitchen. The ingredients are Beeswax, Organic Olive Oil, Organic Almond Oil, Organic Avocado Oil, Raw Honey, Propolis Tincture and Vitamin E Oil. The ingredients they use are so natural that the lip balm comes with an expiration date. I have never seen this before!

The taste of this balm is super neutral which is nice. There is nothing too fruity or minty just a natural neutral flavor.

They also make quite a few other products which I would love to try! Overall, Worker B products are some of the cleanest I have found and I’m really excited to try others and support this local brand.

In Love, Health + Gratitude,

Katie
