Herbal Face Food The Cream Review + 30% Off Your First Order

Just in case you don’t feel like reading this entire post and are here for 30% off click here. Use WholeLovelyLife at check out. You won’t be disappointed by this product I promise!

If you read my Herbal Face Food Serum review then you probably already know a little bit about Herbal Face Food and their amazing serums. You also know what they can do for your skin.

In addition I shared my review on another amazing Herbal Face Food product The Cure X Soap.

Today I am sharing my review of their newest product The Cream. I recently added this product to my Herbal Face Food line up and so far I am really liking it.

I have been using The Serum I and The Cure for some time now in addition to the Cure X Soap a few days a week. I have always been one to bounce from skincare product to skincare product. I just can’t help but try new products. However, Herbal Face Food has changed that for me. I noticed changes to my skin in the first week of use (so many people have this experience) and it has only continued to get better.

I turned 44 this past August and I personally think my skin looks better now than it did when I was younger. I am all about aging gracefully and Herbal Face Food products can help you do just that. I have always struggled with dry skin and there are minimal days where I wake up or end the day with parched skin. My skin looks dewy and consistently clear since using these products.

For the past year the one product I was using in addition to Herbal Face Food serums was a moisturizer. I rotated between a few  (skincare addict here) depending on the season so I can’t tell you how happy I am that there is now a cream in the Herbal Face Food product line!

The Cream is a transformational moisturizer. It is the most potent moisturizer ever tested on the SHMI (Skin Hydration Measurement Instrument).

Like all of the Herbal Face Food Products The Cream is packed with the world’s most powerful Anti-Aging botanicals. The cream contains 102 (including the top 20) rarest, most expensive plant concentrates on the planet.

And, what I think is the most amazing about The Cream is it is the world’s first and only edible SPF (I don’t recommend eating it but you could) with a protection rating of 50+ accomplished by 100% by plant power. This means that when you use The Cream as part of your skincare routine you can skip the chemical or white tinted sunscreen you are currently using in your routine. One less product you have to purchase and use on top of everything else!

I have shared it in my other reviews but one of the things I love most about Herbal Face Food is the simplicity of the products. There is no confusion! There are not 100 different products geared towards a ton of different skin concerns that you have to decipher between. You can simply use all 4 products in the line or incorporate as many as you like and Herbal Face Food will work for all skin concerns. Now that Herbal Face Food created a cream my routine got even simpler!

The Cream supplies constant, sustained hydration. After the first use I could tell a difference and at the end of the day my skin still looked plump and smooth. The Cream deploys potent anti-aging, self-healing plant science technology and repairs and strengthens the skin barrier. Keeping the skin barrier in tip top shop is very important if you are looking to achieve healthy glowing skin. The market is flooded with skin barrier products but with The Cream you are getting this benefit too. Again without the extra product.

The Cream makes your skin instantly soft, supple and youthful-looking. Overtime your skin will feel firmer, lines and wrinkles will visibly diminish, and dryness, dullness, and damage will disappear.

THE CREAM ADDRESSES MANY SKIN CONCERNS

Just like the other Herbal Face Food products The Cream is packed with some amazing ingredients that result in some amazing benefits.

The Cream address the below concerns:

• Dullness/Dryness
• Anti-Aging
• Damaged Skin Barrier
• Fine lines and wrinkles
• Dark Spots
• Irritation/Inflammation
• Uneven tone, rough and crepey skin
• Scarring, Blemishes and Stretch Marks
• Sunburn/Sunblock SPF 50+ (This one is truly AMAZING!)

THE CREAM PROPERTIES

• Anti-Viral
• Anti-Aging
• Anti-Bacterial
• Anti-Fungal
• Anti-Microbial
• Anti-Inflamatory

THE CREAM KEY BENEFITS

• Intensely hydrates, soothes, and restores dry, stressed skin.
• Provides immediate and long-lasting skin relief, and nourishment.
• Reduces redness and calms signs of inflammation.
• Helps rebuild and strengthen the skin barrier.
• Boosts elasticity for a firmer, revitalized complexion.
• Helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation.
• Nourishes and strengthens the skin for a healthy, more radiant complexion.
• Protects against moisture loss and damage from environmental aggressors.

TRIAL

The Cream was tested in a 12 Week Trial of 30 women ranging in the age from 18-70 with amazing results. You can find the results on the Herbal Face Food Website. These results are pretty compeling and I love that they included women of age in this study. If you want to learn more about the study and results you can find more information here.

HOW TO USE ALL HERBAL FACE FOOD PRODUCTS AS A SYSTEM
  1. Cleanse your face with The Cure X Soap and then pat dry.
  2. Apply The Serum I (if you are new to Herbal Face Food start with Serum I and work your way up to Serum II and SerumIII) to dry skin. You can apply it to wet skin but wet skin will enhance the heating sensation you experience with the serums.
  3. Press The Serum deep into the face and allow to fully absorb.
  4. Apply The Cure to any specific areas of concern. This could be hyperpigmentation, blemishes, or deep lines.
  5. Apply another other products you use in your skincare routine, such as face oils, face mists ect.
  6. Finally you will apply The Cream to finish of your routine with dose of hydrating moisture.
MY PERSONAL ROUTINE + HOW I USE HERBAL FACE FOOD

MORNING: My morning routine is pretty consistent but does include things like gua sha, kansa wand, under eye hydro gels, a face mask or scrub. It just depends on if and what I think my skin may need.

  1. I first cleanse my skin. I typically use The Cure X Soap in the morning. If I plan on doing one of the additional treatments mentioned above I will complete that routine. If I do a treatment that requires oil for slip I will wash my face again to prep it for the Herbal Face Food products I use. I have found though that The Cream really has a enough slip to use with a Gua Sha tool so if I am doing a quick treatment I skip the oil all together.
  2. After cleansing I apply the Serum I. I may apply The Cure or mix a small amount in the Serum I but it just depends if I have any areas of concern. I really press the serum into my skin. Sometimes I use a roller to really get the serum to absorb especially if I don’t have time to allow it to absorb naturally. Herbal Face Food serums don’t have a greasy feel and I feel they absorb pretty quickly.
  3. The last step in my routine is applying The Cream. You don’t need much! A little goes a long way. I like to warm a small amount in-between my finger before speading it and pressing it onto my face. If I have time to wait I apply my foundation right over The Cream. If I am in a hurry I will sometimes use a primer before applying my foundation. The Cream makes a great primer but I do feel you need to give it a bit of time to fully absorb. This has been my personal experience.

NIGHT: My nighttime routine is pretty consistent as well. Just like in the morning I may include something additional. Typically if I am going to do scrub or mask I like to do that at night. Exfoliation help Herbal Face Food products absorb into the skin better so I like to exfoliate at least once per week.

  1. Before cleansing I remove my makeup with oil. I don’t use a fancy makeup remover and find that almond, avocado, or really any natural oil works better and is not as harsh on my skin. If you have not tried a natural oil to remove your eye makeup and facial makeup give it a try. You will never use a cleansing balm or makeup remover again.
  2. I tissue off all oil and then cleanse with with the The Cure X Soap or another non-toxic cleanser.
  3. I then pat my face dry and press The Serum I into my face and neck. Sometimes I mix a drop or two of The Cure into The Serum I or I use a small amount on areas of concern.
  4. Now that I have The Cream in my life this has been my last step.
  5. I have this tool that I love and use on some nights. I have to admit I am not consistent with it but love how it pushes the products even deeper into my skin.
WHAT MAKES HERBAL FACE FOOD PRODUCTS DIFFERENT

The Ingredients do! There is no other product like Herbal Face Food on the market. Herbal Face Food serums are 100% PLANT (not plant-based). Meaning they contain only plants and nothing else. No synthetic or man-made ingredients and are also safe to eat! I’m not saying to eat it but you could if you wanted to.  These serums go beyond clean and non-toxic skincare. There is nothing like Herbal Face Food on the market. “Plants are the original Scientists. Plants are the ancient Estheticians.” – J. Michael Zenn

  • All ingredients are Organic and or Wild-Harvested
  • 100% Plants (NOT plant-based)50+ Botanicals (more than any other serum on the market)
  • 20 of the most powerful Anti-Aging Botanicals
  • 20 of the Rarest most Expensive Botanicals in the World
  • 10 of the most Anti-Viral Botanicals
  • Edible (you can eat it, but I don’t encourage it)
  • Vegan, Sustainably and Ethically Sourced
  • No Fillers, Chemicals, or Preservatives
READY TO TRY HERBAL FACE FOOD

If you are interested in trying Herbal Face Food you can use CODE: WholeLovelyLife to SAVE 30% off your first order! My suggestion is to start with The Serum I and The Cream. If you have deep pigmentation, deep wrinkles or troubled skin adding The Cure would be a good move. The Cure will last for a long time since it’s just a spot treatment. I love the Cure X Soap as well but good quality skincare is an investment and sometimes we can’t buy everything at once. My two top to picks would be The Serum I and The Cream.

Note: This code never expires. You can use it whenever you discover this post!

In Love, Health + Gratitude,

Katie

It's been a while. I hope summer was amazing for a It's been a while. I hope summer was amazing for all of you. We had a very busy but good summer.

Sadly, in July, we had to say goodbye to our sweet Luna. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done. Not doing what was right for her, but just getting to that moment. I kept wondering how I was going to get through it? What would it be like? I did not want her to suffer, and I had no idea how I would know when it was time. But I did. Getting to that point was awful. But being by her side when it was time to say goodbye was oddly easy. It was a relief. Luna was my first pet (besides two hamsters after college 😂) and she was so special. She will always be special. Pets are such a blessing in our lives. I definitely feel blessed we had Luna as long as I did. She was almost 14!

Seeing H go through losing Luna was hard. He loved her, but at the same time, only really knew her as an older dog. We had talked a bit before Luna passed away about whether or not we would get another dog. He really wanted one, and I did too. I thought I would not be ready for a while. We originally thought next spring, but the house felt so empty after Luna was gone. So guess what?

We welcomed a new corgi puppy home a week ago. It's crazy how we found her, and it happened really fast, but she is perfect for our family, and H is having so much fun with her. And she is a red headed tri-color just like Luna! We found her in South Dakota, so H and I took a little road trip to pick her up. She was born as a single puppy with no littermates. H thought that was super cool when we found out and said, "My new dog is an only child too." Anyway, life just got a little crazier but in a good way! This is one of my last pictures of the three of us and I just love it. She had a good day lounging in the sunshine and so did we.🤍
When DrNatura reached out to see if I wanted to tr When DrNatura reached out to see if I wanted to try their 30 Day Colonix Cleanse it looked oddly familiar. After taking a look closer I realized I did this exact cleanse in 1999. A friend at the time told me about it and I was just starting to get into "health" stuff. At the time I had horrible stomach problems as did my friend and since she loved it I thought I would give it a try. From what I can recall I had a great experience so I decided to try it again. This time going into it in a good state of health but still finding it beneficial.

I know there are mixed thoughts on cleanses like these so when I consider any product I do a lot of research. Given this product has been on the market for a very long time it is easy to find countless reviews. My recommendation is to always do your own research and work with a healthcare profession. This will enable you to determine what products are the right fit for you based on your current health state and health goals. Don’t just take my word for it. Do your own research.

#maralabspartner Throughout my adult life, I have #maralabspartner Throughout my adult life, I have had a love-hate relationship with supplements. I have been through periods where I take them consistently and periods where I don’t use them at all. I think my biggest issue is finding a supplement company I can truly trust and not over complicating things by taking more supplements than I need.

I recently promised myself that I would not buy any more supplements until I used up everything I currently have. While I finished using what I had I re-evaluated what I really needed and then researched like crazy to find a company I trusted. I will be sharing my new supplement line up over the next few months along with why I am taking what I am taking.

To start I have added a number of supplements from Mara Labs. Some have replaced ones I was already taking but the Mara Lab version is much higher quality. Their supplements are backed by evidence-based research and provide cellular benefit due to proven bioavailability and bioactivity. This means that when you take one of their supplements, it is not only making it into your bloodstream, but it is entering your cells.

They have a number of amazing supplements but the one they are most known for is BrocElite. It is the only broccoli supplement on the market offering naturally derived stabilized sulforaphane in a capsule (as opposed to the precursor, glucoraphanin). I am overjoyed to have found a supplement that can help me easily consume this amazing ingredient!

Sulforaphane or SFN for short was discovered in 1992 by researchers at Johns Hopkins University. It is considered one of the most powerful antioxidants on earth. It has been shown to reduce free radical damage and inflammation at the source. In just 2 capsules you get the equivalent of approximately 3oz of broccoli sprouts!

In my stories I am sharing more of the amazing benefits of Sulforaphane and in my bio I have linked a blog post and detailed review of all of Mara Labs amazing supplements

If after doing your own research you are interested in trying BrocElite or one of their other supplements you can save 10% with CODE: WholeLovelyLife which NEVER EXPIRES and can be used every time you purchase!
