Weleda Wild Rose Smoothing Facial Lotion Review

*UPDATE: In FULL TRANSPARENCY I no longer use Weleda products. However, this post may it is helpful to some so I am leaving it up.

The skincare products I use in my morning and nightly routine are from Herbal Face Food. I have a review of the Serums, The Cure X Soap + The Cream. Herbal Face Food is an amazing, unique product. There is no other product like Herbal Face Food on the market. They are 100% made of plants and contain no synthetic or man-made ingredients. Once I tried them I have never looked back which is why it is the only skincare product I share on my blog.

If after reading the reviews you are interested in trying Herbal Face Food you can use CODE: WholeLovelyLife to SAVE 20% off your first order! Note: This code never expires. You can use it whenever you discover this post!

Welda-Wild-Rose-Review

Weleda Wild Rose Smoothing Facial Lotion is one of my all-time favorite moisturizers. If I make a repeat purchase you can guarantee I love it! To date I have purchased this moisturizer at least 5 times. Not only is this a high-quality moisturizer but Weleda is an amazing company with an awesome mission and strong values. You can visit their website to learn more.

Let’s get on to the review and why I seriously love this stuff. Weleda has quite a few moisturizers based on specific skin care needs. I selected this one due to the fact that it is for dry skin and claims to help with the first signs of aging and fine lines. The packaging claims this moisturizer is light weight and absorbs quickly. I have purchased many moisturizers with this claim but most are either too heavy or too light weight. This one is about right!

SKINCARE MADE SIMPLE

You do need to let it absorb for a bit before applying makeup but if you only use a small amount, you won’t have to. I have found this moisturizer is suitable for day or night. I love products that are simple to use and when I only need to take one moisturizer with me when I travel this is my go to.

INGREDIENTS MATTER

The key ingredients include Rosehip Leaf Extract which has an astringent and toning effect on the skin, Horsetail Extract which possesses antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and finally Peach Kernel Oil which comes from the seed of a peach kernel and is made up of the fatty acids linoleic and oleic which help to protect the skin by preventing moisture loss.

I have noticed that when I use this moisturizer at night I wake up in the morning with moisturized, glowing skin. I can skip washing my face in the morning and find my skin is perfectly prepped for make-up. I really enjoy the natural rose smell and find that it is not overpowering.

The only problem I have found with this moisturizer is that I tend to use it quickly. Given the price, I wish there was more than 1 ounce. Even though the size is small I still love it and will continue to buy it regardless. Do you have a favorite Weleda product?

In Love, Health + Gratitude,

Katie

Not familiar with this company at all. Great review. I’m searching for new skin care. I guess with growing older your skin changes and has different needs what worked for years has quit working. I’m willing to try it just about anything. Nothing is working for my skin.

YES! Target is seriously upping the ante on their natural, organic, non or less toxic options for the body. I saw on Modamob dot com that the stores will start selling 4 hair care lines Attitude, RenPure, So Cozy for kids and SoapBox. I’m so excited.

Thank you so much! I hope you can find it in your area and if you try it I hope you like it as much as I do. I have two more reviews coming from Weleda (facial wash and lip balm). Both are great but I still love this moisturizer more. I agree, my skin has changed over the years and I feel like mixing things up a bit helps my skin. I typically don’t use exactly the same products every day. I hope you can find something that works for you! In the future if you find something you think is awesome e-mail me and I will try it out. I did not realize Target was getting all these brands. I will be checking them out! Thank you so much for the tip and I really appreciate your comment.
